A minimum of a six-hour trip is required for Panama City Beach, FL, bottom fishing. Eligible trips include the 6-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, and 14-hour fishing trips.
Kelley Girl Charters specializes in bottom fishing on local reefs. Fish species caught on these reefs include, but are not limited to, red snapper, vermilion snapper, grouper, triggerfish, and amberjack. Some species may only be caught during a predetermined season, as defined by the National Marine Fisheries Service.
A longer Panama City Beach fishing charter gives you more time on the water and the ability to catch more fish. Several different types of bait are used for reef fishing: squid, herring, and live bait. Every bottom fishing charter includes rods, reels, tackle, and a fishing license. Live bait is an additional small cost.

Captain August and deckhand Griffin explained species targeting options, and they executed the plan perfectly. We never dipped lines at a dry hole. We were provided the perfect bait and they took us to the fish. Also, they considered the strength and endurance of the six older guys in our group. We caught big red snappers and amberjacks, triggers, white snappers and bee-liners, and even hooked a 7 foot shark. Effective use of time.
